Fresh Servant Group Oy Ab receives approval from the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) for the acquisition of Bama Fresh Cuts Oy from BAMA Gruppen AS. This is the largest acquisition in Fresh Servant’s history. The actual completion of the transaction is planned for 30 September 2026. The transaction is expected to raise Fresh Servant’s revenue around EUR 150 million mark and strengthen the company’s position in the foodservice market, where restaurants and other professional kitchens are looking for ways to improve efficiency, increase profitability and manage food waste.
Fresh Servant announced in June 2026 that it had agreed to acquire Bama Fresh Cuts Oy. The transaction was subject to approval by the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, which has now been granted.
The transaction comes at a time when professional kitchens are facing growing demands for efficiency, labour availability challenges, pressure on profitability, and the need to reduce food waste. The acquisition strengthens Fresh Servant’s ability to offer foodservice customers broader solutions that save time in kitchens, support sales growth and help provide consistent, ready-to-use and attractive food solutions. Bama Fresh Cuts’ expertise complements Fresh Servant’s existing operations and brings additional capacity and deeper customer insight to the Group’s foodservice business.
The integration will begin in phases after completion of the transaction, and operations in Vantaa will continue as normal as part of Fresh Servant Group. The aim is to ensure a smooth transition for both customers and personnel.
